With the introduction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employers with 50 or more FTE employees are required to offer medical insurance coverage that complies with the Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) plan guidelines or pay a penalty.  MEC plans are low cost options for employers and employees that generally cover preventative and wellness-related care. Further, many of the ACA compliant plans that Innovative Workplace Benefits offers go further by providing benefits such as access to national physician networks, prescription drug benefits or discounts, telemedicine, and indemnity benefit options.
